Pinelawn Memorial Park & Arboretum Sunset Yoga

Begin your weekend practicing yoga as the sun sets in one of Pinelawn's beautiful gardens with the soothing sounds of our flowing fountain. This is an open level yoga practice. If you are new to the practice, feel free to join us! If you're an advanced yogi and seek growth, no worries! You will be given an opportunity to shine and improvise your own variations throughout the session.

Event is from 7-8 pm, check-in begins at 6:30 pm. The duration of the class will be one hour, with a 10 minute meditation. After our open level vinyasa class, essential oils will be offered during our meditation to promote concentration, relaxation and rest. The traditional practice of gandha, sanskrit for fragrance used for meditation and spiritual practice, believes that the sense of smell transcends the thinking mind, calming it and helping the yogi enter a deeper state of consciousness.
