Planetarium Restorative Yoga

You ask and we deliver! We have added more Planetarium Restorative sessions, with very limited availability, to ensure you can join our most popular yoga class at the Vanderbilt Museum. Join us for our next class Sunday March 26th.

You can expect 75- self-indulgent minutes to maximize your most relaxing practice above the expansive digital sky. Sessions sell out quickly, so reserve your spot while available.

Can you fathom anything more relaxing than a 75 minute restorative yoga sesh with an expansive digital sky above and a soothing guided meditation to deepen your practice? 

We will introduce a minimalist style restorative practice, that involve support by minimal props that allow you to rest and relax. Contrary to our yang lifestyle, or highly active state of being, this practice will introduce the elements of yin to foster and promote optimal relaxation. Held for 5 minutes or more, restorative poses include light twists, and gentle backbends. All levels are welcomed and encouraged! Also feel free to bring your own props if you'd like. 

You will dive deeper into the true journey of the self. Cork blocks, yoga blankets and essential oil infused towels will be provided. Please bring your yoga mat and a smile. Check in begins at 5:30 PM, please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to practice. for our 6:00 PM restorative session.
